The first thing you need to know about me is, not only do I love baking desserts, but I also love eating dessert! Growing up as a strict Vegetarian (no meat, fish or eggs) it was nearly impossible to find egg-less desserts in Toronto during the 90s. So, at the age of 13, I took it upon myself to learn how to bake. Fast forward 20 years, while on maternity leave with my second child, I decided that I would finally take my love of baking to the next level. I spent over one year creating and perfecting all of my desserts and taking cake decorating courses. Finally, in 2016 at the age of 34, I established The Plump Strawberry.
